My crew and I are a bit on the light side and I was wondering if we would benefit from having a lifting pin. I have an old waterat and I have no idea what parts are needed, how to install it, and if I need to reinforce my cb trunk. Can anyone help me out?

My crew and I are a light combo 164kg.

Unless you have a really large area centre board I don't think you need one and even then it is debatable whether it is better to rake or lift the pin. I have one and never use now. It is easier to reduce rake to power the boat up if the wind drops for a while and I have found it quicker to rake more than lift.
