I am looking for the best way to trailer. Most 505 dollies have these mysterious little hooks underneath. Is there a specific interface with a trailer these are made for? Is there an obvious choice for a trailer brand to mate with the 505 dolly?

Many thanks beforehand for any ideas and help.

Chris

Most of the dollies go with Rapide trailers. The trailers have a roller on the back. The dollie rolls onto the trailer, The hooks on the back go around the rollers and the front of the dollie is pinned to the trailer.

They are rather hard to come by and I ended up making mine. I think there's a trailer maker on the West Coast that can help but I don't know the details.

I have some plans and pictures if you need them.

Thanks, if possible I'd like to see plans (and pics). Especially interested in the roller position and grouping. THANK YOU.

Thanks for the info. There is a new similar (and light) Laser trailer that might give me cross-use with proper rear roller installation.
