...not sure I think the 505 would be a good twin trap boat.
There are other skiff boats that have swallower cockpit floors that make it easier to cross the boat.

My vote would probably be Asym Kite.

Easier to Jibe,
Probably faster in a blow.
Would clean up the boom.
I think it would be impossible to run over the sheets(I know, if I were better I wouldn't have that problem)

get rid of gybing boards.
keep the profiles, but dice the gybing bit. keep it parallel sides.
reason- cost
boat cost
foil cost
more complexity
gybestoppers


all this will keep new young sailors out of the boat
dual poles you dont need-optional.
