Here's the final instalment (thank god) - the pre 6500 registry. Most noticeable and consistently enjoyable entries came from Hong Kong (who must also get the prizes for best boat names and epitaphs). Boats from HKG consistently came to grief in the most spectacular of ways - "destroyed by typhoon", "lost at sea"", "wrecked off ...". Must have been quite a place to have sailed!!

JR can you please confirm whether you have received the revised registry (6500 to current).

Cheers

Iain

Iain,

thanks for a monumental effort! I have taken all the updates and created 2 pages on the website. (The file was too big to load onto one page and hung when trying to save). The registry is now split into two - sail numbers 0 to 6999 and 7000 to 9000.

Thanks once again for your help. Next will be to create a form so sailors can update their entry online and dynamically.

OK, I think I have most of the updates on the new registry since they have been coming in. There is still a ton left with the pre 6500 bunch but it will get done.... Thanks to those sending in your updates. Sorry it took so long to get them listed. There have also been some great stories along with the updates! Love to read them.

I initially passed on details of our boat under your old website, and I see your new updated registry has room for further information (it looks great by the way). Can I fill in more of the columns??
Sail number 1616 - Popsie II - subsequent owner/current owner Phillip Ironside (the boat has only ever had two owners in her whole life - my father in law, Roy, who built her, and now my husband Phillip.) She is still sailing from the north shore of Rutland Water but hasn't been out this year.
Many thanks
Jill
