Hi everyone.
I am after some advice or ideally a replacement part.
I sail an old Parker 505 original sail number K4370. I keep patching it up every year to get another season out of her. My jib furler blew out last season and I'd love to be able to replace it. Does anyone out there have an old Parker furler they would be prepared to part with for a sensible sum of money? Alternatively if you have one but don't want to part with it would you be prepared to take it apart and photogrph the various sections so that I can see if I can get something made up in my local metal work shop? I have the actual furler piece that the rope goes around and also a tubular piece about an inch or so long with 2 holes in it. It's the bits inbetween that I'm missing.
Any advice, offers or links to other websites etc would be very helpful.
Thank you for reading. Apologies if this is in the wrong section but looking at how old the posts are in the other sections I'm not sure anyoine ever looks in those areas any more.
