International 5O5 Mid-West Championships

505’s will have their own course during the weekend of the South Port Sailing Club Invitational (keelboat) Regatta. In addition to good racing, this will be an opportunity to showcase the 505’s in Windsor!!!

Schedule:

First Race Start: Saturday, 22 August 1998, 11:00 AM

Last Race Start: Sunday, 23 August 1998, 14:00 PM

Entry Fee: Can $ 40 / US $ 30 to cover prizes, RC Expenses, and some food.

Directions:

From Mid-West

Go to Detroit, Cross into Windsor via Ambassador Bridge, continue straight south on Huron Church line to EC Row Expressway. Take EC Row East towards and past Tecumseh (~20 min). After EC Row turns into a two-lane highway (Highway 2), turn North to St Clair Beach at fourth traffic lights, which is West Pike Creek Rd. Cross Tecumseh Rd. (West Pike turns into Brighton Rd.) and the entrance to the club will be on the east side of the street.

From Ontario,

Approach Windsor on Hwy 401 west. Take the last exit before Windsor: north to Tecumseh and go North. to EC Row Expressway. Take EC Row East towards and past Tecumseh (~10 min). At highway 2 turn East to first traffic lights, turn North onto West Pike Creek Rd. going to St Clair Beach. Cross Tecumseh Rd. (West Pike turns into Brighton Rd.) and the entrance to the club will be on the east side of the street.

Some limited billeting will be available, to those who pre-register early with Renka. Contact her by e:mail or Phone. Free camping at the club.
