DIRECTIONS

Approaching from the North From I-5 Southbound take the HWY 20/San Juan Ferry/Anacortes exit. Follow HWY 20 west and take the Whidbey Island/Oak Harbor/Deception Pass HWY 20 turn off and head southbound across Deception Pass Bridge. About 5 miles later shortly after the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station stoplight is a Y to the left. The sign says Torpedo Road. Take this Y and another 1/4 mile is another Y to the left. Take this Y also. Torpedo Road makes one stop and continues south. Just past the stop sign be careful the base patrol hides out along this stretch of road. The road will eventually parallel the bay and at the end of the beach rip-rap are a couple of small buildings/shipping containers of somesort and a left turn onto a huge empty slab of concrete. Acres and Acres of empty concrete. Head for the launch ramps.

Approaching form the South.
It is highly recommended that unless you want to layout big cash avoid the ferries.

If you're coming from the South on HWY 20 when you've entered Oak Harbor go straight following Pioneer Way past the Yacht Club to a funky little intersection. Go to the left and then to the right hand turn next to a couple of small buildings/shipping containers. Barrel across the empty concrete to the launch ramps.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Due to the Whidbey Island Jazz Festival and the Dodge Charger Car Rally the hotel room availability is limited to none. There is some house share opportunities and plenty of tent space. If you wanna be under a roof call Paul.
