this has enabled the class to evolve and take advantage of many of the improvements in technology over the fifty years since it was first designed

Santa Cruz Summer Open July 17/18 saw 10 boats turn up to race the Santa Cruz summer open very well run by PRO Adam Borcherding, assisted by Dominic Marietti, Chris, Jeremy Leonard, Bert Trafton and Julieanne Jones. The fleet was some what depleted from usual with a container load of boats in Europe for the upcoming Worlds.

French Nationals

French Nationals were held in Deauville, Normandy from 15th to 18th July. 39 boats were present with GBR, SUI and GER teams among the french boats. The first day was a tough day. Shifty and gusty wind blowing between 20 and 25 knots welcomes everybody! Rough seas were on the menu as well.... 2 races were done where we could enjoy tremendous surfing with the kite. Rush/Short from GBR and Stauffer/Jacot won a race each.
