Hello All, A quick note now that Mark and I are back in our respective offices to say thanks for a great welcome to the class and to the team in Australia for a great regatta. We both enjoyed it a lot and the whole thing was well worth buying a boat for and making the effort to come down. We will be sailing HKG9055 some more in the next 24 months so hope to see you on the race course. The 505 really is a magical machine, and having sailed everything from big boats to 49ers I can honestly say it is my favourite! Laurence

Hi Laurence, it was good to meet and chat with you even if it was only at the presentation dinner !!!! Glad you both enjoyed it. I agree that despite the inclement weather it was still good to be a part of such great racing, with the guys at the back working bloody hard to avoid that last place. Hope to catch up with you ( and Patrick Chisolm) in Cowes in a couple of months and maybe get some lead poison(Etchells !) Cheers, John McLean
