Looking for used mast for old 505, built in the 60s. Sorry, don't have the make but can adapt mast. This mast mounts on a support a few inches off the floor of the boat.

I'm looking for a used gybing centerboard (I will consider a damaged board if it is repairable). I am also looking for a decent used jib and spinnaker for my launcher boat.

Also...I am looking for a source of a decent dolly for my 5o5. I would like to adapt the dolly to fit on my "heavy metal" US made Shoreline trailer.

I've heard good things about the Rapide dolly (and trailer) with the exception of cost and parts availability in the US. Is there a US distributor for Rapide and/or a US made unit available?

We just bought a new jib for our 1967 505 a few years ago, but we could use a new used main sail. I don't want to invest in a new sail unless we can get a newer 505 hull. Ours is not in too good shape. It is full of cracks and patches. It leaks massively around the bailers, and the teak rubrail keeps coming through the screws that are stripped. We really could use a newer hull also!

Garen Miller is interested in used and almost new main sails. Also, his jib is old and trashed...what do you have? His boat needs the wire jib halyard and has a jib furler (Ali - but could take any stuff luff jib and simply add a luff wire).

Nothing fancy - in fact, we're hoping to pick up someone's surplus after they've upgraded to a fancy racing mast (we're just at the learning/thrashing stage, and this boat is never going to be a competitive racer).

The spin is stretched and may be usable but the main and jib are just wrecked completely and need to be dumped in the garbage. I probably need a complete set....... I would like to keep the cost down."

My boat has come a long way since last year. I guess the next logical step is to get a decent set of sails for the old Butler. I have a decent jib, and I am looking for a good main and spinnaker. Do you know anyone who may have one or both of these two item? If you don't perhaps you can lend me some advice on a new set of sails.

I was thinking that because my boat was older and the rig was a bit bender that I might be best equiped with some Ausssie cut sails.
