For this 3-day long week-end, 25 boats met in La Baule for the traditional 1st of may regatta. On Friday, a nice 15-knot breeze enabled the fleet to do 3 races. Racing was tight and 3 crews appears to be over the rest of the fleet: Gubri/Di Pède, Silvestre/Toupet and Broise/Desjamonières. On Saturday, the wind was less strong than the previous day and was really shifty which is a bit unusual at La Baule. Therefore, racing was really tactical and the competition was hard. However, Gubri/Di Pède kept the lead at the end of the day. Sunday appears decisive for the victory. Broise/Desjamionières, coming 2nd and 1st at the races of the day, finally overcame Gubri/Di Pède and got the trophy.
