- Latest draft of the proposed ISAF Advertising Code, from the chairman of the ISAF Constitution Committee. The right for Class Associations to levy advertising surcharges does not appear to be included in this draft! A number of submissions to alter the proposed ISAF Advertising Code have been posted in http://www.sailing.org/99conference/submissions/default.html. In particular, the US Sailing Association seeks to keep "what advertising level is allowed" decisions in the hands of event organizers rather than International Classes and sailors. So we would continue to have advertising allowed at one event and not at the next (which is a huge pain for those carrying advertising). Also US Sailing seeks to delay implementation of the new Advertising Code. A small number of other MNAs also seek delays.

The tie resulted when no wind was available to conduct the final matches. B&SYC also won last year.
